Acquisition of Empigest by Aprolis
On 6 February 2023, Aprolis – a subsidiary of Monnoyeur – acquired Empigest in Portugal.
Aprolis, Monnoyeur’s division dedicated to the rental of handling equipment in Europe and Asia, is strengthening its position in the Iberian Peninsula with the acquisition of Empigest, a major player in its market. Empigest has a turnover of more than €20 million in 2022, employs 140 people and manages 2400 long-term rental contracts.
Empigest is the exclusive distributor for CROWN in Portugal. This group offers the most comprehensive range of top-of-the-range materials handling equipment and operates in Portugal through its direct branches. The company customers base is in most industrial and distribution sectors and the group offers a single point supply and support for all classes of materials handling equipment.
